Casa
Serena

A fourteen-room sanctuary on the Mediterranean coast, where golden light meets ancient stone and the pace of life slows to the rhythm of the tide.

"Where the Aegean meets ancient stone, time bends toward stillness -- and every morning tastes of salt, warm bread, and the slow unraveling of the day."

Casa Serena was born from the belief that the finest hotels do not compete for your attention. They quiet everything else. Fourteen rooms, each a dialogue between light, limestone, and the wide sea beyond.

We chose this coast not for its convenience but for its mornings -- the way the Aegean catches first light, the sound of cicadas through open shutters, the unhurried pace of a coastline that has not forgotten how to breathe.

Every surface here serves rest. Nothing is accidental. Nothing is excessive. What remains is precisely what matters.

The Spa

Rituals carved from the land

Our treatments draw on centuries of Mediterranean botanicals -- wild thyme, cold-pressed olive oil, sea salt harvested from the cove below. Two treatment rooms, a hammam, and a plunge pool set into the hillside. No playlist, no rush. Just the sound of water and stone.

Open-air dining with candlelight
The Table

A kitchen that speaks the season

Chef Katarina Pavlou sources within a 30-kilometer radius: line-caught bream from the harbor, tomatoes still warm from the vine, cheese aged in the caves above the village. Dinner is served in the courtyard at a single seating, under the fig tree, by candlelight.

Terraced garden with olive trees and lavender
The Gardens

Three terraces above the sea

Olive groves, wild lavender, jasmine that opens at dusk. The lower terrace ends at a stone wall overlooking the cove -- this is where guests read, sketch, or simply sit. No pool. The sea is twelve steps below.

Excursions

The coast beyond the hotel

A morning sail to the neighboring island with our captain, Nikos, who has fished these waters since he was fourteen. A walk through the hilltop monastery at golden hour. A wine tasting at the family vineyard two valleys over. We arrange everything. You carry nothing.

What Guests Say

"We came for two nights and stayed for five. There is a quietness here that gets into your bones -- you stop checking your phone, you stop rushing. It simply happens."

Elena & Marco Bianchi

Milan, Italy

"The terrace at sunrise is the most beautiful place I have ever had coffee. The staff remembered my name after one conversation. This is what hospitality should feel like."

Anna Lindqvist

Stockholm, Sweden

"I have stayed at five-star hotels that did not make me feel this taken care of. Fourteen rooms means they actually know you. The restaurant alone is worth the trip."

James Whitfield

London, United Kingdom
